A new version was made recently staring Heath Ledger but it's nowhere near as good. It's already on DVD here in oz but I think it will hit US cinemas next year, along with Danny Deckchair.

The original version was called The story of the Kelly Gang and was made in 1906 and ran for 60-70 minutes. It was the worlds first feature film and was made in Melbourne, Australia. Check it out if you find it anywhere.

It stars Heath Ledger (10 things I hate about you, Monsters Ball), Naomi Watts (The Ring), Orlando Bloom (Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Troy), Geoffrey Rush (Pirates of the Caribbean) and that guy who played Owen Lars in Star Wars Episode 2.
It's already on DVD hear so you might be able to get an imported copy.
