» dancooper - Finding a home

I'm not so sure the Saints will have found a home to play in--even a temporary one--by their second scheduled home event. There are thousands of people without any kind of home at all, and they may be in stadiums and University sports complexes for quite a while. I think this season will have some really big problems getting started. The problems are bigger than the apparent solutions that are currently on the table. Finding a home in which to play football may not carry enough weight to make much difference any time soon, when so many people are trying to find a place just to put up a cot to sleep on. I am just guessing that it may be a month or even two months before any indoor stadiums are available for football. So, you are right in assuming that the Saints are likely to have a lot worse weather conditions than they are used to this year. In fact, I half expecting Tagliabue to suspend the opening of the season for at least a week. Guess that's not gonna happen.
