I have just read your piece on the Grand National and agree with you totally, this race is cruel and should be banned.

I have read the Animal Aid report on the use of the whip, it is clear that there is no excuse to continue with its use. The jockey club should open its eyes to the cruelty involved in racing and start doing something about it.
