I have tried this method many times. Baked biscuits taste fine but they rise very little if any. The bought frozen biscuits really rise well but don't taste very good. I was wondering if the commercial company has access to an ingredient that the home baker does not. I would love to be able to freeze and then bake my favorite homemade biscuits. Would appreciate anymore info that any one can give me that might solve my problem. Thank you kindly.
