I saw a documentary about Eva not to long ago and was struck by the poignancy of her life. I think that it is fitting that she is receiving acclaim because she was true to herself and sang the music she loved. As a result, many people are realizing that they don't have to be classified into one category. Her life teaches a number of lessons--be true to yourself, follow your dreams, don't allow someone else to define your "passion" and many others.

Thanks for writing about her. And you're right, her voice is incredible.
