What a neat idea to save large and dead plants for decorating...

Another idea for you...a couple of years back I was at a local farm stand and an "artist-type" fellow was buying corn stalks with roots attached. The farmer had yanked them out of the round for the fellow. He was going to basically pull the leaves off, turn them upside down like a parasol, and cluster them in a bouquet. You'd never know they were recycled corn stalks.
