I think were in the same boat. The movie did have Speilberg's nack for tear-jerking. I cried through most of the movie. All David wanted was for Monica to love her back and it took over 2,000 years for him to hear those words. This movie left me with a bad feeling however I didn't not like it. You took the words out of my mouth.
