there is a film out there about this guy who is always getting hurt by women. he finds this book about how to win the women you are in love with. there are a bunch of steps..like make the women chase you.. wait days to call her back..ect...i'm trying to find out the name of this movie.. does anyone know it.

I am trying to find the tile of an old black and white movie can you help?
I do not know who was in it, but it was a woman that was teacher and the girls in her class found out about a scandal that involved her. So, she goes back in time to tell the story. She was a nanny or something to a family. The husband was nice and the wife was a real beast anyway, the nanny and the father fall in love with each other and the wife I guess finds out and freaks. The husband goes in the wife's bedroom and I assume kills her. I really cannot remember. But, I really would like to find out the title so I could see the movie again, Thank you

been visiting my nan recently shes keeps on about this black and white film ,she believes it was carry grant but not to shure
it would of been around 1940s whenshe watched it
loved to find out wot film it was as shes ill and on breathing aperaters at this time

film all she can remember was a man comming home from the war
goes to a opthanage and sees a row of kids theres a boy witch he notices with one sock up and the other one down he believes this is his son
but not too shure
untill they pass a shop and theres a toy garraffe
in the window the boy calls it a name then the man knows its his son
other than that we dont no ive search all film ography of carry crant but i dont think its him

I hope one of you can help me. I saw this when I was a kid.

I believe it was a priest who's sister is in labor, and he has to choose whether to save her life, or the child's life. I believe he chooses to save the child.

For some reason, I have Montgomery Clift (probably because of I Confess) or Tyrone Power in my head as the lead, but I'm really not sure. Can anyone remember this film? I'd be so grateful!
