Incidentally, Canadian-born Bob Hunter who also writes for Suite101 married a woman from the Philippines, and the family also eats Mother's Day dinner at a Chinese restaurant in their town in Newfoundland, and the restaurant has Filipino owners.-- posted by biogardener
