These words,"selective perception and attention" Carol, explain a lot about info. circulating re: Fibromyalgia.

Sort of like buying a new car. All of a sudden we may notice all the other cars on the street
just like the one we have and think there's a lot of them. But they were there all the time!

Personally, I hadn't heard of it until few yrs. ago. When a friend said she had it, I had to ask her to repeat the name. Interesting, since I've actually had FM over 20 yrs., but I was only diagnosed 18 months ago.

Great article! Well written, explained well.
