Tape recorders are helpful to me with fog - but I fear if I used it as a journal it would never get listened to. Reading is so much faster than listening to words in actual time! But I was thinking, after this, of keeping a sort of journal by compter (after all, I'm here for about 2/3 of my waking hours so what's more logical?!) I know I've recommended journalis for all kinds of things - pain tracking, even the weather, what you eat, good and bad days and what might have caused them - but I've never done it. I still haven't quite grasped the fact that I don't just remember all these things the way I used to.

What you are saying about doing nothing - I found that true for me even BF (before fibro.) We would get a school break and sometimes I'd spend it working on the house or garden and feel all energized. But sometimes I'd feel sort of tired and resolve to do nothing - and I'd go back to school exhausted! Spending time on something that makes me feel like I've accomplished something - that made me feel good. It doesn't need tobe anything huge - like top to bottom house cleaning. Clearing a cluttered spot. or painting a new pill bottle - a tiny thing on my list, but one that can now be checked off - that makes me feel good.
