There is a discussion on cooling things in the American dinnerware topic and someone mentioned a neckband that has gel crystals in it that you soak in cold water and it keeps you cool.No one seemed to know what it was called but I went to ebay and typed in "neck, cool gel" and came up with a bunch of them - ordered a nice plain white one for $5 and free shipping. If it works I'll let you all know - but idiot me paid by check so it may be a while.
