If it sounds too good to be true - it probably is. I can't stress enough how important it is to check with your doctor first before trying any alternative/traditional remedies from unknown sources. Thanks in Advance... -- posted by WalterN » Loni - Re: Re: Disclaimer In response to Re: Disclaimer posted by WalterN:Walter: Something new here, and if you are considering such, it would be wise to consult with an ophthalmogist ( A Dr. that treats eye conditions, and can also prescribe corrective lenses ). This type of eye Dr. ( who by the way, are licensed physicians ) can be found in the yellow pages in any phone book listed under Physicians. If you are a bit unsure who to consult, please ask your Primary Care Physician for a referral. That way, you can be assured of getting the best care for your eyes. Sorry, but until you brought this up, I have never heard of Accomodating IOL. They really didn't explain too much, so when you see the eye Dr. ask him/her to explain things to you in non-medical terms. Good Luck. Sorry, but I cannot vouch for any of them, though. It does look like you'll be able to find much more information. Loni, thanks for the heads-up, and such good advice.
