What a load of horse hockey!!! Lynne Matallana doesn't know the first thing about Fibro and her experts are not high on my list. Yunus is a fool.

This is almost 100% wrong...even the description of the symptoms is wrong in most cases. IBS, as described is OUR IBS and won't respond to the treatments listed. IBS, as it really is, does not include diarrhea as a major symptom.

The sleep stuff in the same hackneyed garbage for any sleep disorder site and does not apply to anyone with Fibro.

This type of article makes my blood boil!!!

Gee...thanks for posting!

Sorry to make your blood boil, Don.

My intention, as always, was to link to information that I found valid. Obviously, you disagree.

According to the NIH, http://digestive.niddk.nih.gov/ddiseases... painful diarrhea or constipation ARE major symptoms of IBS.

"Most people have either diarrhea or constipation, but some people have both."

That's always been my experience and understanding as well.

I'm also operating on the premise that what works for one doesn't necessarily work for another and vice versa.

How do we know that every known treatment won't work for someone, even with fibro?

It might in fact help someone, who doesn't actually have fibro, to sort out what is and what isn't.

At least, that WAS my intention.

Yup, me too, Mare.

Glad you agree that if there's even one thing in this link that helps someone else out then it's worth posting.

That's always been my way of thinking as well.

I have learned that I just cannot please everyone, though.

Hey, you're very welcome.

Hugs,
T smile
