Jean, glad you are back and feeling a little better. Glad you have gotten some answers.
Barbe-glad to hear from you.
Carol-we miss you and think about you.
Sara-thanks for all the info.
Don-always a rock when we all need to anchor ourselves.
Tamara-I too will not give my weight.
Kirin-glad to know something about you. I too am retired and fighting the bulge.
I am 5"8" and won't tell my weight. Age 63.
Had been doing really well with my program but the lack of an effective arthritis drug has set me back some.
Margaraet so sorry about your grandson. Will be thinking about you. Hope surgery is successful.
RECLINERS: Love them, but can't operate them. We inherited one with an automatic lift and I love it. I would suggest a flat headrest with plenty of padding. Always try them in every position, including trying to operate and get out of them. I can sleep in them when I can't sleep in a bed.

Am having a major flare and computer work and sitting in a chair really irritates me badly so I will be posting infrequently for awhile. I am also taking an art course online and publishing an art newsletter for a group, so that is about all I can do. So if I am not here but a couple of times a week, I am not checking out, just can't type.

Really worried as I am having trouble getting up from a chair after 5 minutes. Have to hold on to things with both hands and pull up and the pain almost makes me cry and I am afraid I will fall. It has never been this bad before. Once up I am ok, but almost go to the floor before I finally am able to stand. It is the right leg. Also neck pain and hand pain have increased and I can't grasp much with my left hand. Guess it is back to the rheumatologist for some trigger point injections and hope that does the trick. Beats surgery anyday especially when it may not help and may make things worse.

Hugs to all. See you in a couple of days. Joyce
