I am glad that your scarf has mohair in it. I live in the cold Canadian prairies, and I have a mohair scarf around my face all the time, because I need to breathe through it. Mohair is the one wool which will not freeze to your face, in fact, it does not freeze. My scarves are all 100% mohair.-- posted by biogardener

Well witht he severe weather we've had over the last month here in Western NY its good to know that scarves can help! I had never heard the mohair doens't freeze. I use my own handspun, so its hand washed and keeps a natural oil even when scoured thus preventing freezing.Thanks for the information on mohair's freeze resistance.
