» Tina_Coruth - Good advice!

Hi Deanna,
This is great advice. You certainly made a great point about starting a journal with photos. I would be absolutely thrilled if I had something like that from my Grandmothers! I guess I better get busy. Thanks!
Tina

» RoslynT - Remember the living

Genealogy is a satisfying and worthwhile pursuit, but my New Year's Resolution is to keep my research into the past in perspective and give sufficient honour to the family around me who are still living.

Thanks to all my relations who have shared so much with me in my research over the years, who have made my websites possible. I am convinced it has brought us all closer most of the time but sometimes my conscience reminds me that my children need me alert and energetic and tired out and grumpy after hours on the computer.

In response to message posted by RoslynT:

Thanks for your wonderful comments. It is too easy to get lost in our research and forget about the family around us---history in the making!
