» biogardener - Good message

I personally have never had a problem saying, "I am sorry." That is probably because my mother and I were the best of friends and she taught me how to say and do what is right by example. I remember saying, "I am sorry" to my son when he was 13 once and instead of telling me, "That's all right" he told me, "You should be." I was at first taken aback, but did not react in any way. The more I thought about it, the more I agreed with him. I should have been sorry, and I had taught him always to tell the truth, so why shouldn't he say so. I don't expect 13-year-olds to be diplomats. Only a diplomat would say, "That's all right" when he means, "You should be sorry."

I agree. We have to remember that our kids are still learning and watching us! Puts more responsibility on us. Thanks for adding to the discussion!
