Like old times, as Joy said. Thanks, Joy. Shoshana had a list of some contributors who had made remarks about the edits of the project. You were one of them. So was I. Hehe. Catch you later. Keep cool! Renie -- posted by Renie_Burghardt » MsPersephone - Little Angel Joy,What a beautiful story! I'm sure that you were in the right place at the right time when you rescued the angel gull - it was definitely no accident that you found him! And now he can live his life in peace and plenty. Animals' lives are of no less value than human lives, and I love the articles you write to illustrate that point. -- posted by MsPersephone

Hi Cynthia. It's nice to have you visit me here. Seems we frequent some of the same places. -- posted by Joy Butler » Tina_Coruth - Re: Re: Great! In response to Re: Great! posted by JButler:Joy, What a wonderful story. You and your daughter are kind and caring people to put the time and effort into helping the injured gull. But then, after reading your articles, I am not surprised that you would stop to help the poor bird. I'm so glad you posted this URL in Kids' Korner. Happy Mother's Day! -- posted by Tina_Coruth » biogardener - Educational chance I hope that gull gets a chance to serve in a place where people will learn from her. Gulls are quite adaptable and learn to live with people. I know of a great grey owl who lived with one of Manitoba's great wildlife researchers, Robert Nero. That owl went with him everywhere for years and taught people about owls and the respect for wildlife in general. As a result of that owl and her dad, Robert Nero, the great grey owl is now the provincial bird of Manitoba.-- posted by biogardener

What an interesting story, Traute, about Robert Nero and the great grey owl. I'm going to look up more information on this. -- posted by Joy Butler « Previous 1 2 3 Next » Please follow the guidelines set forth in the Suite101 Posting Etiquette when adding to the discussion. |
