» MsPersephone - Precious lives Joy, thank you for writing this article. You expressed so well the grief and rage that so many of us feel about the fates of so many innocent animals in New Orleans. It's a sin that people were not allowed to bring their animals to safety with them! I admire those people who stayed behind with their animals - I would have done the same thing in their situation.It's gratifying to know that the folks in Galveston are being allowed to take their four-legged family members with them. But it still hurts my heart that so many animals had to suffer and die in New Orleans. -- posted by MsPersephone
