I sorta favored the little white poodle who put the coins in the bank, but Spot was definitely talented in math! Glad you enjoyed it, Tina! -- posted by Joy Butler » biogardener - What Channel? On what channel do you see the show? I have never heard of it.-- posted by biogardener

Traute, it's on Animal Planet. I think you would enjoy it. Let me know if you see it. -- posted by Joy Butler » biogardener - Animal Planet We don't get animal planet, but I searched MSN TV Guide for the show and found this listing. Is this the right show?-- posted by biogardener

That link only led me to a sign-up page but here is the link to their website which has a link to a TV schedule. -- posted by Joy Butler » biogardener - The Problem The problem is that we don't get that channel in Manitoba. We only get individual programs on a certain Canadian network. If the link to the show did not work for you, it is probably because I am signed up to the TV programs on msn.com.BTW, msn.com has great TV listings for any place in North America. It is searchable, and when you click on the shows, you get excellent reviews. -- posted by biogardener » Dubh_Sidhe - Re: The Problem In response to The Problem posted by biogardener:Joy, I had no idea birds were smuggled in that horribly cruel fashion. Looks like our borders have more trouble than with people! Of course, smuggling is a people problem. What a lovely idea to have a "talking greeter" at the pet shop door. Thank you for bring this to attention. I hope it expands. V -- posted by Dubh_Sidhe

Hi Virginia. When I started researching, I also was shocked at the methods of smuggling. Some people will do anything for a buck. But that parrot was gorgeous and I really believe he knew what he was saying because he always said the hellos and goodbyes at the right time. -- posted by Joy Butler » biogardener - Animal Tricks Show The program is on TV right now, and it is apparently a special of Canadian pets. So we do not have access to the regular program which the rest of you get to watch.-- posted by biogardener

Hmmm, I've seen a lot of Canadian pets on Pet Star but never a show exclusively of them. The pets come from all over everywhere. It sounds like you are seeing essentially the same show though. On March 14, the Pet Star Championship will be aired. This is where all the weekly winners compete for the yearly $25,000 championship. Last year, Skidboot from the Dallas Texas area won it. My grandson saw him perform and I wrote an article about him. http://www.suite101.com/article.cfm/1366... -- posted by Joy Butler « Previous 1 2 3 4 5 Next » Please follow the guidelines set forth in the Suite101 Posting Etiquette when adding to the discussion. |
