» rahunter_nf - Great Ideas!
Great ideas for all husbands, Dale, not just for expectant fathers. It's too late for me to try any of them for Valentine's Day, but Easter and my wife's birthday are almost here.-- posted by rahunter_nf

Careful about generalizations! I wouldn't want a diamond, because I like color, and a diamond hasn't got it. I would want a more colorful stone. I don't want it in a ring, though, because I talk with my hands and when I get excited, I occasionally hit walls and even people accidentally. Diamonds leave nasty scars in people's faces.I'll go for the romantic dinner, though, in fact, I'll go for the romantic anything. If you really want to impress your love, don't buy a Valentine card. Make one, and make up some mushy poem of your own, or if you are not good at poetry, make it prose, but use your own words. They count for more than signing words which someone else has penned. Better still, tell you all those mushy things in your own words without writing them down, and don't just do it on Valentine's Day. Do it any day of the year. On Valentine's, we expect it. On other days, it would blow us away.
