Thanks for your comments regarding my essay on attachment parenting. I'm glad to know someone's reading. I think you're absolutely right: the beauty of life in a free society is that we are all at liberty to pursue life and happiness in our own ways.

My reference to "leeches" was intended to be tongue-in-cheek. I certainly don't mean to offend anyone. I just like to try to bring a little humor to the often far-from-funny task of being a good parent. Sounds like you are definitely a wonderful mother.
