If you feel like re-reading some of the old favourites, Brian, you may be interested to know that I have just received a parcel of books, very kindly sent by Professor William Butcher, who is currently based at Hong Kong University.The books are new translations by Professor Butcher of the Verne novels we all know and love and they very entertaining ...fresh, up-to-date and fast-flowing.
Oxford University Press have published these new versions so they are the ones to watch out for.
