» desertblue - great advice on mastiff grooming!

This is a wonderful article. Your big dogs are cute, and yes, THE big dogs do seem to want to cuddle during baths. Or at least lean all over you. ;) I wear a waterproof slicker top and pants when I bathe (you can find these thing used, for cheap, at thrift stores. Your dog won't care if they don't match).

Thanks for the mention of my grooming site in your article, too! smile

Thanks so much, Jill, and you're very welcome smile Yes, leaning is certainly a mastiff thing! I've been thinking I should get one of those rain ponchos from the dollar store before our next bath time, which is tomorrow if the weather holds out. I've been tempted to wait for a rainy day, squirt soap on 'em and shove 'em out the door LOL Just kiddin' (maybe) smile

Have a great night!
Love & Hugs,
Dar

My dog has not liked baths since day 1. Now that my mastiff is 80lbs I cant get him into the bathtub. It is winter here so I cant wash him outside. Any helpful hints on how I can bathe him?? I have tried putting treats in the tub I have gotten in the tub. He just wont get in. Help!!
