Fun With Words in the News
This archived discussion is "read only".
» WyndeRiter - More Fun with Words Sometimes it's not always the spelling or the grammatical errors of a sentence that make it funny, but the "don't say what doesn't need to be said". The most frequent culprit of this has to be the local news.A good example is a report I saw a few months ago about an explosion at a major plant (I think the explosion was in Georgia). They were reporting on the damage done by the fires when this line came out "Workers will wait until all the fires are out before beginning repairs." Well, I should hope so. -- posted by WyndeRiter
