» JaneHollis - Re: Wow, a wealth of infomation and Thanks Betty. Don't those digital cameras make you a more adventurous and keen photographer? I've had mine about 8 months now and I love it. Beats fiddling around with a scanner any day.-- posted by JaneHollis » CarolWallace - Re: Re: Wow, a wealth of infomation and In response to message posted by JaneHollis:I've noticed that, too. It;s so much easier to take tons of pictures and then learn from your mistakes that I can see a marked improvement in my own photos. Congratulations, by the way, on being this week's featured article! -- posted by CarolWallace » JaneHollis - Re: Re: Re: Wow, a wealth of infomation and Hi Carol, Just logged on this morning and seen my CFS article as featured article. Many thanks. *Big grin*!Another thing about the digi cameras is that you can do your own cropping and enlarging on the computer. With my old film camera I might take a shot which would really benefit from being cropped and enlarged, but never got round to taking it in to the photo shop to get it done. Plus of course and get photos like the CFS ones, on the web the very same day. -- posted by JaneHollis » Gay_Klok - Re: Re: Re: Re: Wow, a wealth of infomation and In response to message posted by JaneHollis:Jane, we were in Scotland a week after the Chelsea show - terrible planning! Great article and photos. I could have gone there on the first day, by being a member of the Royal Horticulture Society. Cheaper too. The photos in your flower page were terrific - and three of them were my own favourites -- posted by Gay_Klok » JaneHollis - Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Wow, a wealth of infomation and In response to message posted by Gay_Klok:Gay, What a shame you missed Chelsea. I noticed this year that the show seemed a bit quieter (still very busy and crowded though)- perhaps it was because Foot and Mouth put off a lot of foreign visitors. I know many people come over mainly for the Show, then use the opportunity to visit some British gardens. Can't wait to see your Scottish photos. Which three plants were your favourites? -- posted by JaneHollis
