A Flower Row for ButterfliesRead the article this discussion is about

» bindweed - Enabling Gardens Do count me in, both on the butterflies and all other such enabling garden projects. After I put on my thinking cap, I will contribute a few suggestions of my own. One subject I see as needing to be addressed is how we deal with the elderly. I live in such a community and see how developers are all too ready to construct Senior Citizen Storage Facilities, but few concern themselves with creative housing projects. For gardeners I would like to see developers present communal gardens, with orchards, private gardens, beehives, Koi or water gardens that these people have had all their lives but may no longer be able to maintain. For that maintenance gardeners should be employed, skilled in dealing with people with disabilities.

You can post both for what your looking for and what you have to trade. I have had great luck here with seed exchanges and refer people to it often.I also will forward your article to my members to help spread the word. Great job on the article! -- posted by kanawa » stargazer_70 - Loved article and count me in on the campaign! Diana, I loved this article.
