this is the email i had to send them, but it is not necessarily the Bands fault.
"I did the Lighting for the show in Hawaii and the management company you used bounced both the deposit check and the final payment check written to the company i work for, Eggshell Light Company Inc. Since he knowingly wrote bad checks in the State of Hawaii i have the legal recourse of suing him for 3 times the amount of the checks he wrote, i also have the option of filing a police report, since the dollar amount puts this in the category of a felony. Please let him know that we will be pursuing this course of action soon if we don't hear from him.
I gave you folks a really good deal for the amount of money i charged now i feel like a real sucker. If i don't hear back from you i may start publicly denouncing your business practices, maybe even start my own web page.
Your prompt attention to this matter will preclude any further action."

My Bad, had a long talk with Elvis and his Manager Charles and it seems that the promoter, a guy named Sam Durrance of World Stage Productions, is the responsible party and even Elvis Wade and his band did not get paid.
