I come to Doc Franks contest every year and some of the guys are just so nice. Some I have never spoken to. I want to but Im --We'll I dont feel right to just walk up and start talking. You guys are like big stars to some of us. It would be hard to be a judge. So many of you are so great in different ways.I guess if you go to a contest that you think was just really bad I say dont never go back.I would never talk bad about who won tho cause you know they just must be so happy. -- posted by jean99 » NanceFox - Re: ETA Contest's Unfortunately, Terri is on a vendetta because her favorite did not win. Yes, it is true that her group walked out when the winner was announced. I have never seen such a display of poor sportsmanship in my entire life. The ETA she supports should be ashamed of her. Now, as I have said before, I may not agree with the results of my contests - but - the ETA's get to see their scores right away. The judges do their very best to judge fairly - as a matter of fact - one of the judges was an Entertainer from Memories Theater. The winner of the contest got almost emailsails congratulating him and supporting his win. It's a shame when the poor sportsmanship of a few fans make things hard on the winners. I wonder how she would feel if her favorite was insulted in this way.
Terri Terri would like to be a judge in one of my contests, she is welcome to do so. If she feels her knowledge is so great that she can pass judgement on the judges, she should be glad to put her knowledge on the line and face all the ETA's with explanations of her scorTerri

I reconize the other two names but I know most of them by face rather than by name. -- posted by jean99 » NanceFox - Re: Re: Re: ETA Contest's This is an official request for Terri to be a judge at Irv Cass's ETA contest to be held in South Bend, IN, on April 16th & 17th. She can see, first hand, how difficult judging can be and can also justify her scores to the ETA's after the show. If she will send me her snail mail address, I will send her the Judge's Handbook and a sample judging sheet. She can email me with her information at NanceFox@aol.com-- posted by NanceFox » ButchD - Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: ETA Contest's Yes Jean99,If you go to www.butchdicus.com you will be able to read about me, my schedule, my audio/video collection, my Memorial Day pictures, and other points of interest. But if you are going to Memphis this year, I am trying to get a spot on August 11, 2004...then I will be returning back to Arkansas for a festival show on the 12th. As you can tell, I don't take the Memphis or any other contest seriously. I have all the gigs I can possible perform in one year and Memphis is just a stopping off place to rehearse before the next show. Hope to see you there.
