» rahunter_nf - Thanks, but Unfortunately...

Thank you for recommending some early learning math programs, Kay, but unfortunately I couldn't access six of the ten websites that you gave links to--the third, fourth, sixth, seventh, eighth, and ninth.

The only program that you recommended that we already have for Robert (6) and Shekinah (4 1/2) is Carnival Countdown. It's one of two programs in Edmark's Mighty Math K-2, which we purchased through a children's book club. So far we've used just two of the five activities in the other program in the package, Zoo Zillions. The other activities in it and Carnival Countdown seem to be intended for grades 1-2 children.

Based on your article and what I read at the websites that I could access from your article, I'm considering getting SuperMentor.com's Stuart Little: His Adventures in Numberland. However, I'll first try again to access the other websites that you gave links too.

Sorry, I'll double check that as soon as possible within the next day or two. I just came on quickly to check messages. The links worked when I first set up the article, I'll get them fixed pronto.

Right now I have to go referee the boys. Check back in a day or two.

I decided to pull the math article until I have time to work on it. For some reason, all the links I used which I found through the site's search engines won't work. So here's a new article. The math one will return when I get it fixed.

The link problem is fixed. I apologize for the inconvenience. It was a simple matter of removing periods from every sentence which ended with a url. Now I know. It just took me a little while to pinpoint the exact problem.

Thanks, Kay. In my earlier message, I said that I was considering getting Stuart Little: His Adventures in Numberland. Now I have to decide between it and Richard Scary's Best Math Program Ever. Both sound as if they'd be good for Robert and Shekinah.

Unbeatable Deals has the Richard Scarry one for $4.95. The link is under my Best Bargains section.

Sorry, I can't help more---I've never seen the Stuart Little One---I've known about it since it was Piggy in Numberland. i wish we could use it, because I've heard it's so wonderful.

Good luck with your decision.

Kay Pluta

Good luck in deciding.
