» Zanzi - A wonderful article! I am so glad to have you back, and I hope you are feeling completely well again!Your article underlines the importance of the little things we so often take for granted, and at other times feel are just "too small" to truly matter. Many Christians fall into the trap of doing nothing, since they feel they cannot do something big, and thus the little they could do does not measure up (in their minds) to the need at hand. Over the years, many Christians have done kind things to/for me, and most of the things I may not even remember. What I do remember, however, is how these folks made me feel, and how their actions showed me Christ's love over and over. Your article brought this back to my mind. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts, and I hope that many will take the advise of doing something, no matter how small. -- posted by Zanzi » Willow4 - Re: A wonderful article! In response to A wonderful article! posted by Zanzi:Thanks Sylvia! I know exactly what you mean about feeling like a small thing won't make a big difference. I feel that way sometimes too and have to remind myself that the little stuff can mean the most. It's the theory that "smiles are contagious". ;o) -- posted by Willow4 » jerrib - Hi Cheryl Glad you are on the mend.Small things are important. I would much rather spend time with my kids than receive a gift, for instance. It's the time we take to let others know they are an important part of our life that I think makes the world go around. Happy New Year! Glad you are on the mend. -- posted by jerrib » butterfly65 - Encouragement I was surprised once when someone made an offhand remark to me about my being such encouragement to them. It seemed I am always glad to see them and smile... How's that for encouragement that doesn't cost a cent! :>)-- posted by butterfly65
