I have found when the door is closing on one opportunity, it's also opening to the possibility of another. You are destined for bigger and better things.I've been in an organization that threw people out the window in the name of "reorganization." Not once, but twice, it two years. It hurts. I left. That was right for me. But I often wonder where I'd have been if I stuck it out.
Sorry for the upheaval. There's a rainbow around the corner; you just haven't found it yet.

I've actually decided to take my talents and skills to another company on a part-time basis and start my own business as a Virtual Assistant. This has definitely taught me one lesson, never put all your eggs in one basket and trust the person carrying the basket for you - at the very least, carry your own basket. ;o)
I hope to have the VA biz online within a few more days. It's also great because I'm hoping to be able to outsource some of the work to one of my best friends to help her too.
