I have to admit I don't always go to what I know is the cheapest store overall, because it is bigger and takes longer to shop at. I'm sure we could all save money if we tried harder. I think it was a great thing that you and a friend shared this shopping experience. Always something new to learn!

Thanks Jerri. smile It was definitely interesting! I think what's even more ironic is that when I went to the grocery the following week I had to add the items I couldn't get the previous week. I was pretty nervous about blowing my budget but these were items we really needed.

I ended up only going over my budget by just $30.00. I was thrilled when they told me the total! I got a ton of stuff - the buggy was overflowing.

Anyway, it just shows that sometimes you gotta be brave and try a different store. smile Of course, it also depends on what's more important to you to determine which store works best for you.

I know some women who go to 3 or 4 different stores just to get a few items on sale (usually they have a coupon for the sale item). I've never been one of those "take me all over town" types. I think what you're saving on groceries, you're probably spending on gas.

Thanks for stopping by Jerri! I really appreciate you leaving a comment. I hope you'll stop by again. smile
