Yes, there are many who pass through here who are bulimic. If you are looking for a place to chat with other bulimics, try: www.eating-disorders.com/wwwboard/wwwboard.html

Good Luck!

» cuppajo - 30 somethings message boards

Can you suggest any message boards geared toward women in their 30's or older? All the ED boards I find seem to be mostly for teens and very young adults. I FEEL SO OLD!
I am a mother of 2 and have been struggling off and on for about 20yrss. It would be helpful to me to relate to others in my situation from time to time.
Thanks so much

Good luck, I am a male in my 40's and I can barely find any written articles for those in their 30's or 40's let alone a message board. I feel really old compared to these women in their teens and twentys. I'm praying for you!!
Do you mind a question ? How did you get strated ?

Hi there.... I'm with you too... at 35, I'm much older than a lot of the young people who I see post here (and at many of the bulletin boards I find). But, upon further investigation, I've discovered there a lot of us 30+ year old women and men out there who struggle with these disorders.

It's been awile so I'll have to do a bit of research, but I'll get back on here to let you know some of the 'over 30' eating disorders boards and/or chatrooms out there.

Stay tuned!

I know that I'm 3 years late... but here is an amazing book about older women who struggle with eating disorders. (I know it applies to men too). "The Body Myth" Adult Women and the Pressure to be Perfect By Margo Maine, Ph.D. and Joe Kelly.
I hope this book is usefulto someone! I'm praying for you guys, even if I'm too late.
