- Interesting Australian Places
I grew up at Hervey Bay http://dkd.net/whales/ in Queensland Australia. When we were kids it was just accepted that you could swim with the dolphins. porpoises and there were all kinds of other creatures to watch such as sting rays etc. It is so commercial now and there are chartered cruises. It is all so unnatural really. Strangest things occur when money is involved.
The other place in Australia is Monkey Mia
http://www.monkeymia.com.au/ again it is all a bit unnatural.
