Eleanor's RescueRead the article this discussion is about
This archived discussion is "read only". « Previous 1 2 Next » » Renie_Burghardt - Eleanor Joan, I'm typing this with tears running down my cheeks. You truly are an angel of pyrs. Eleanor does have the sweetest face, and I hope she ends up in a good home where she will be loved and appreciated. I don't know how people can be so cruel and heartless. I just don't know. Thank God there are people like you, out there. I hope the good people reading this will help. Keep us updated on Eleanor. Bless you, Joan! I was weeping as I tried to tell her story! And a little worried that maybe, had the first vet's records shown any mention of stones--that it would be me that would need a fundraiser---for bail bond. Some times it is difficult to be a pacifist. I will tell you the truth---something I say often, but wonder how many folk truly get---It is my priviledge to Rescue these magnificient animals. I made her pants so the puppy couldn't Tug on her diapers! (Do you think my son will miss his sweatpants?! He's at sea for the next 3 months, US Navy) ;-) Velcro sides, hole for her tail--and she doesn't seem to mind at all that I do these things to her. I think I should put a bow above her tail--I wish I could post you a picture. -- posted by pyrangel » pyrangel - Re: Eleanor's Rescue In response to message posted by JButler:Hi Joy! They should suffer even a fraction of what this loving, sweet animal has--and God would whisper in their ears:"What's that you say? It hurts to urinate? There is pain in your abdomen? Blood in your urine? My, my look at you--have you went your pants? Yes, I know it hurts-- you can go to the Dr---but your poor dog felt this and much more, for a very long time. I thought you needed to understand." Thing is, it is hard to hug Eleanor and keep a hateful thought. She generates such peace. I want to be more like her! :.-) Surgery is postponed for a few days. -- posted by pyrangel » pyrangel - Re: What a wonderful person you are In response to message posted by kimliann:Kim, Thank you so much--but Hon--I am no different than any of the Rescuers I know. -- posted by pyrangel » clippers1 - pyr What a shame it is to have people who would to that to a dog. glad I'm not part of that family. I groom dogs and have 2 pyr that I do and they are very gentle loving dogs. Will keep her in my thoughts. She sounds like a fighter and will come thru with the love you give. Thanks to people like you who care. GREAT WORK !!!!-- posted by clippers1 » kkimber - Update??? Joan, What's happened with Eleanor? She sounds like such a doll. It's just heartbreaking to seek what happens to these dogs... To any dogs...Oh btw - the store of Olive really touched me... She looks so much like my own Tobyboy... -- posted by kkimber » Rainbow9 - Re: Re: What a wonderful person you are You have touched my heart with your rescue efforts. I also rescue and adopt plus help where ever I can. I wish there were more of us. Some day I know we will cross the Rainbow Bridge and be surrounded by loving rescues for an eternity. Till then good luck with all your endeavors.-- posted by Rainbow9 « Previous 1 2 Next » Please follow the guidelines set forth in the Suite101 Posting Etiquette when adding to the discussion. |
