» ashers4142 - Lion's Cut

I am in need of pictures of what a lion's cut looks like, preferably on a Pomeranian, but any breed with lots of hair will do. I've never done a lion's cut before but someone wants me to do one now, so i need a little help. Any info about this cut will be greatly appreciated.

thanks,
Ashley Keehn

Sorry, no pictures, but I can tell you how I do them for my customers.
Use a #7f blade on the body and take off all hair accept the head and neck. I trim from the withers to the breast bone to create a pointed low point in the front and round the hair to blend and look full like a topknot of the entire head.
the tail is shaved to about the last two inches to give a shaggy pompom like a lion's.

I had one customer who liked the poppom's on the ankles too but it took the look of a lion away.

Hope this helps.
