I had my dobes ears done and it took a hour or so I waited and as soon as I got her back she was out of it she was so doped up but when she was back to normal I would say a few hours or 5 it was like nothing ever happen to her she was trying to play with our pit pull I didnt let them play around for a few weeks but after the stiches were out and the tape was on the ears I will tell you what it was on I couldnt let her just sit there beacuse she didnt know why the couldnt play I would say and think she never even knows she got them done she never acted any different but a little stronger because our pit didnt know what was on her head he new they where points
