i have a miniature pincher,pitbull, and recently got a great dane. when i got my first two dogs the ears were already cropped no one ever said anything to me about the cruelty of cropping then. until i got my great dane with his ears unaltered and i decided to go to a vet and have the procedure done. i am a dog groomer and my dog comes to work everyday and the second people saw duke happily walking beside me with his ears taped people start making rude comments and preaching to me. people make comments on my way to my car leaving work. well i think that it's a dog owners decision i do not force opinions onto others if you think it is wrong fine don't crop your dogs ears if are pro ear cropping then crop your dogs ears. either way people should relax and let people live their lives in peace and stop this nonsense of this unnecessary debate. My own vet is against ear cropping he hates it why does he do it? because if he didn't do people would still get it done it just would be done by a hacker in for the money and not for the dogs well being. whew i needed to vent. thank you for reading my ramblings.
