I definetly agree with you on the Doberman being a inside dog and a family dog. Our Max is a inside dog and has been since he was a puppy, hes 2 now. Hes always at my husbands side, day and night, awake and asleep. He has his own little bed that is right beside my husbands side of the bed. He has got to be the most devoted animal we have ever had. His devotion and love for my husband is amazing. With my husband in the military, if he is gone longer than a few days, Max gets kind of depressed and will not eat correctly until my husband returns home. He loves me, but not as much as my husband. Im just more the mom figure to Max. I do the scolding and feeding and my husband is the typical father figure, easy to get your way with. I always joke that Max thinks Chris is a pushover but, he does love him dearly. I can honestly say, he is a definete member of our family and we have family pictures to prove it. Hes just another one of our kids. And were expecting another like him very soon. I would recommend his kind to any family who has much love to give and wants double the love in return.
