» topaul88 - How to get rid off puffy cheeks/eyes ASAP

To whom it may concern:

I've come across your webpage and I think you could be the one who can help me. I've been searching and seeking for answer for the past 5-6 months. I am now desperate. The reason why I worry so much is that I'm a TV host/Actor in Thailand. This effects my job directly and severely!!!

My cheeks have become puffy for no reasons for the past 6 months. But my weight has remained the same. 153 Pounds/5'11"
I asked many doctors. Searched for info on the net. Exercised even harder/ Went on a diet to lose weight! I got really skinny buy my cheeks are still puffy.

Here are causes I suspect::

About 7 months ago, I changed my antidepressant from Trofanil+Rivotril toThioridazine HCL or Calmanil 50Mg. And I found many adverse effects on the net including "...The syndrome is characterized by involuntary choreoathetoid movements which variously involve the tongue, face, mouth, lips, or wjaw (e.g., protrusion of the tongue, puffing of cheeks, puckering of the mouth, chewing movements), trunk, and extremities. The severity of the syndrome and the degree of impairment produced vary widely. " I've stopped using it for almost a month now. But the size of my cheeks are still the same. Maybe a little bit smaller.

I have also been taking many Vitamins. Multi-Vitamins, B Complex, Buffered C, Ginko and ZMA (dietary suppement for people who want to build muscles, 1 capsule nightly)

I was suggested to try taking Lasix. SO i did for 10 days. Got light-headed.

So I'd like your suggestions and recommendations.
How can I get rid of my puffy face as fast as I can. Through Medication? Exercise? what?
I don't smoke and drink alcohol at all.
I do have stress and tension.
Lack of rest.

I am now very tense and desperate. Your suggestions and recommendations will be highly appreciated.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards,

Paul

» Skorpian - about puffy cheeks and eyes

it's true that several reasons that can cause this...
one main cause is maybe you drink alot before going to bed at nite...( that would apply to either drinking alcahol or water)so if you do drink alot of liquid during the evening try cutting it back...

maybe your kidneys aren't very well...for example you are not resting ( maybe you are stressed)...
try this remedy during the day to detoxic and get rid of your water

...if you have corn...make sure it's organic...and take the corn out, and use the outer shell/case of the corn to boil in a pot...when ready you just add abit(tiny) bit of salt...traditionally this method was used to help the circulation and detoxifying...maybe this could help...but again please remember try not drinking too much fluid at night...

good luck...
