» pljanzen - Birthdays I am a divorced grandparent & really appreciated your article on birthday parties. Even though my grandson's 1st b'day party was at my house; I am still feeling left out because this year the kids are having his 2nd b'day w/my ex & his wife's whole family - including ALL of the kids from the babysitter's & other friends. Since I am alone at this point, I am feeling an extra sting. Especially since I see him & take care of him quite a bit.-- posted by pljanzen
