Candy and Chaos In the Classroom is more or less about the same thing only a bit different? I believe that if the children are engaged in meaningful activities and they can see purpose then they would like to be involved. They still may not however have the skills to be able to become meaningfully involved without training ..."did you forget you're not allowed to talk? hmmm?" What to do if that dosen't work..???...not hit them! That I say because I just plain don't want to go around hitting anybody! So I think I'll do the work and read the references you have all given and settle down for a good ol' dialectic approach to the perplexing intricacies of the philsophy of Crime and Punishment I tried this trick I learnt in a rehab.
