» Susie_Q - You'll do great

Thanks for visiting me! I know you'll do great here, and I have some pretty big shoes to fill in the other area. Folks, Deb is a very serious professional educator, and you will learn a great deal from her. Keep coming back for more! (She did NOT pay me to say this:-0 Seriously, I can say it in all honesty. I've learned so much from her in the time we've been buddies. You won't be disappointed.

» Deborah_Jeter - Such a kind welcome.

Thanks cybersis for the kind words. This will be an exciting change for both of us. You, as the editor of Music education and me, well... you know. :-)

I only hope that I can stay with this topic in the midst of my Graduate studies. Hopefully, it will complement the work that I do for grades and vice versa.

Thanks for dropping by. I was beginning to feel a bit lonely. ;-)

» JulieCoiro - Looking forward to reading more!

Deborah,
Just finished reading your three articles on Diversified Learning and wanted to say Thanks! You've got a unique way of capturing the reader's attention with a concise overview of the featured topic and you've gathered some great lists of Internet resources to lead us in the right direction. I'm intrigued with the topics you've chosen so far, and I'm looking forward to reading next month's article. Congratulations!

» Deborah_Jeter - Thanks Much!

I appreciate your taking the time to offer your appreciation of the articles thus far, Julie. I've had such little feedback, that I have gotten out of the habit of checking my discussion area and so I want to offer my apology to you for not responding sooner.

I truly appreciate the visits and it's always nice to hear from a fellow educator.

» RoslynT - Music education in an online future

Deborah
Not many people have given so much thought to both Music Education and Diversified Learning with a focus on the future as you have.
The Tasmanian Education Department is hosting a forum this week on "Online Learning - are we ready for it?" and one of the subjects for comment
is Music.
As one who has accepted feedback from users of the internet for some years on the topic of Music Education and dedicated so much of your professional life to it, would you be interested in visiting this forum and perhaps participating?
The URL is "http://www.discover.tased.edu.au/forum/s...".

Best wishes, and with sincere appreciation of your leadership over the years, ... Roslyn.

» Deborah_Jeter - Re: Music education in an online future

Hi, Roz,

I am looking through my article discussion and suddenly realize that I missed the opportunity to be a guest at your online forum for music. I deeply apologize. If you should ever need me in the future, please keep this email address handy and let me know. I'll do my best to work around whatever I happen to have going on to participate. Thanks for the invitation and once again, please forgive my oversight in your note to me OCTOBER before LAST! :-(

I appreciate your visit and hope you will come back from time to time to see what is happening in diversified learning.

Kind Regards,
Deborah
