» HPCAmom - Looking for DBAE friendly curriculum

I am looking for a curriculum that is based on the DBAE principles. I would like something that has books, art prints, lesson plans, etc.

My daughter's new private school is adding art next year and I want to implement the right stuff. The grades will K4(4 year olds) through 2nd grade. They will add a new grade each year.

Can anyone recommend a curriculum that might work for us and can grow with the school?

Thanks for any suggestions!

If you are looking for a good discipline based curriculum try the "Adventures in Art" series published by Davis Publications, Inc., Worcester, Mass.

They have a great deal of supportive materials, CD-Roms (which I use often with my deaf students),slides, prints, etc.

You can follow "as-is" or use as the backbone of a program.

Good luck!
