» Barbara Bell - Cool stuff

I don't know what I'd do without my digital camera. If I'd had to pay for the equivalent film and developing for the hundreds, maybe thousands of pictures I've taken with it, I'd be broke.

The coolest thing I've done, I think, is create a slide show for my screen saver. I went into Control Panel, to Display, and was able to choose "My Pictures". Every single photo ever uploaded to my computer is on view, even the original unedited ones. They cycle at random, and it's sometimes mesmerizing to just sit and watch...

Funny you should mention that! I've just recently started taking the screen saver idea one step further by creating folders of themed photos. One set of photos contains all of my gardening pix for for past 3 or 4 years. Another shows me and my brother growing up from childhood into adulthood. Yet another are all pix from our vacations at Disney. It's been really fun to play around with.

Thanks for the note! I am really looking forward to getting this topic nice and busy.
