The Midnight Louie series of mystery novels by Carole Nelson douglas are amusing, fun and just a bit quirky. I have been enjoying them for some time and always look forward to the next book. Following Midnight Louie, his daughter, father, mother amd assorted friends is enough to keep me going on to the next book, but we also have the ever changing relationships among the humans in the stories. How will all of this eventually work out?

Thanks for your comments about Midnight Louie. I'm just getting started reading mysteries that involve animals as sleuths. I will be reading them and writing articles on this category for awhile.
