A Perennial Garden for the New YearRead the article this discussion is about

» Gay_Klok - Enjoyed I liked your article!Of course, in the country garden the common buttercup is a dominant "weed" - though I love to see them in a vacant paddock. In Australia, we are in BBQ season - my Birthday is on Monday and the family are arranging an outdoors lunch time so all the Grandchildren [minus the 2 Sydneyites] can use the swimming pool too -- posted by Gay_Klok

Gay, Thanks for your note - lovely to hear from you! And so glad you liked the article. If I am reckoning correctly, it is, as I write this, already Monday in your part of the world...so Happy Birthday and a wonderful year of health and happiness for you! Have a great day! One of these years, I will cut the traces completely and celebrate The Holidays down your way with turkey on the barbie! Right about now, swimming sounds lovely to me :+) -- posted by Georgene A. I wish the 12th took longer to come around every year but it is wonderful to have all these days when the children and grandchildren get together. And where better to celebrate these occasions but outside in the garden where everyone can relax -- posted by Gay_Klok

Thanks for your fine comments! Apparently there is no space too litte for perennials...I dreamed last night of perennials (seriously!) and the places where I managed to squeeze them...apparenly the location was my own garden...however I really don't have any of the spots I was planting :+) Go figure! -- posted by Georgene A.
