Due to lack of space most of the Japanese people stay in apartments. I have discussed traditional Japanese homes in detail as space management was the key factor even in those homes. Modern Japan too is concerned with the same space management. Though many of Japanese stay in flats they stick to certain rituals.-- posted by shruma
